Gibson 61'RI SG 1975
This SG had been hanging around the house for awhile (and 33 years on earth in hands of many players i presume) ever since the tele went away.
I think the bridge pups' split out of phase for that single coil twang.
Neck pup sounds smokey and very woody , almost transparent to its very own electronic existence.
Neck is super thin and great for girls and the girls in boys.
For sale @ BlackWood Guitars.

Subdecay BlackStar Distortion
The Blackstar is a high gain distortion pedal especially suited for hard rock and heavy metal playing. The Blackstar allows you to match the pedal to your guitar and amp... NOT the other way around. Most high gain pedals fall flat because of their frequency response, or because all the distortion is produced in one gain stage.
Frequency response problems can happen at the input or output of the effect. Too much bass response at the input can make the distortion muddy. Of course bass response is dependant on the guitar used, and most distortion pedals do not allow for tweaking pre-gain bass response. The lower drive knob is a bass frequency gain control and allows you to "match" the pedal to your guitar. Then there's the output. A lot of high gain pedals sound great at low volumes, but just don't cut through the mix at rehearsal or on stage. The Blackstars' tone control allows you to match the distortion to your amp, whether its a 1x10 combo, or a 4x12 stack.
The Blackstar produces its distortion through cascaded gain stages, much like a tube amp. Each stage is a little different. The first stage uses a mosfet. The two following stages use hand picked jfets. Jfets are known for producing even harmonics when overdriven, much like tubes in guitar amps.
Near Mint condition with box and manual and bubble pops.
$220

Kimjawbettas Rutt V2
A much tamer contraption of the original Rutt. Not a far cry from its predecessor , its just different with the additional features.
Ok , so the new features would be
- Fuzz cut switch , left = low gain with less muff fuzz, right = high gain with more muff fuzz
- Lil red LED that glows with the intensity of your picking.
- G - add acts as a signal/color booster. Gave my 1992 strat the bell-like chime.
I would love to give demos of this pedal. so just drop me an email to set an appointment :)

CatsAndTrees 1st Year Anniversary
First of all , i did like to thank Glenn for his generous support for the past year and the years to come. Working with Singapore Mint in 2006/2007 as a clerk did spark off a curious ambition to bring in gear from other parts of the globe to Singapore. Subsequently , the opportunity to help WMUM clear the 1000+ pedals did come along before the closure of the shop. But of course , dealing for David from Ebenex was the cornerstone of Catsandtrees, a great joyful experience so far. Thanks David! :D

Fender 1960s Jazz Bass
"This bass I have gigged with and have been blessed to be able to 'chari makan' with it, meaning support myself through school through the gigs its played for. The fretboard is one of the most seasoned rosewood's (same with the gorgeous maple neck) I have seen and the whole neck and body resonates when played. Big fat bottom for vintage lovers, reggaemen, jazz/blues' men, James Jamersons alike. Unfortunately this has to go to make way for a another 'chari makan' bass."
*A piece of history
*Slim neck for easy fret accessibility
*Rich harmonics when bridge pickup is in use with a dash of drive
*Sweet growl when you dig in "Cut string"
*Professional setup by Malcolm from MTlutherie
***Upper frets (15 fret and above) don't work
I have personally tried this with the MXR Line driver and was astounded with the other hidden tones embedded in this old soul. Though fretted, this bass fills the room with its bell-like clarity similar to an upright bass.
$1200 a steal compared to the other vintage fender basses on EBAY!
Drop me an email if you did like to hear it in action.

SansAmp GT2
I truly love the GT2 , a distortion swiss knife. Anyway Glenn from Surreal had this with him back in 2006 and 2 years later , i had the chance to mess around with this monster before it was sold to a friend of mine. Often described by me as the AVA ( A Vacant Affair , a major influence in my guitar playing ) pedal simply because it nails the tone of the guitar trio quite accurately on the self-titled EP. And of course , the tweed/clean dip switch setting satisfied my hunger pangs for the strat quack.
